1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

3. Reservations and Booking Policy
3.1 Reservation Confirmation
All online reservation requests are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you receive a formal confirmation from our reservations team via email, WhatsApp or SMS. Submitting a request does not guarantee a booking.
3.2 Cancellation Policy
Guests must notify Café 1904 of any reservation cancellation or modification at least 24 hours prior to the reserved time.
3.3 No-Show Policy

We reserve the right to release a table if the party has not arrived or contacted us within 15 minutes of the confirmed reservation time.

In the event of a consistent pattern of no-shows or for large group bookings (8+ guests), we reserve the right to require a deposit or credit card guarantee. Failure to honour a guaranteed booking may result in a non-refundable no-show fee equivalent to the deposit or a set charge per person.
3.4 Large Group & Private Dining Bookings
Terms for groups of 8 or more, and for private dining, will be governed by a separate, formal contract and a specific deposit or minimum spend requirement, which will be communicated by our Events Coordinator, Isabel.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Currency and Pricing
All menu prices displayed on our website and at the restaurant are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.
4.2 Price Changes
Menu items and prices are subject to change without prior notice due to market conditions, seasonality, and availability. We endeavour to keep the prices displayed on the website accurate but cannot guarantee them until the time of your visit.
4.3 Service Charge
A discretionary service charge of 15% may be added to tables of 8 or more guests.
